The following are the terms and conditions (the "Terms") under which you (a "User") may visit and/or use The Auction House Ltd. (“TAH”) website www.theauctionhouseltd.com and/or any other addresses affiliated with TAH (any or all of which are herein referred to as the "Website").
By accessing and using the website, users accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of TAH. Your use of TAH website constitutes your agreement of all the terms, conditions and notices herein stated and otherwise posted on the website. If, for whatever reason, you do not accept the terms and conditions of this agreement, do not use the website.
- Users must be 18 years of age and older to use the services of TAH.
- All Users must register before making web bidding.
- Users must not, under any circumstances, falsify information provided to TAH.
All information provided to TAH must be current and complete (valid government-issued proof of identity required, bank reference may be requested).
- Each bid and/or purchase respects the terms and conditions of TAH and is acknowledged as entered into contract with TAH.
- Users must place bids and/or select items for purchase only if he/she is serious about buying the item(s). Items are sold “as is, where is.”
- All sales are final; bids are non-retractable.
- TAH reserves the right and sole discretion to reject any and/or all bids, bid on items that have not met the reserve and withdraw any item at their discretion.
- TAH will not be held responsible for errors or failure to execute web bid(s) and/or Direct Buy purchases.
Web Auction
A Web Auction constitutes any purchase made at www.theauctionhouseltd.com where the item(s) has a closing bid notice.
1. Bidder must register
2. Sign in with user name and password
3. Select item(s) of choice and enter your maximum bid amount (if you have not yet registered or logged in, follow the instructions until you are back at the detail page for the item(s) you wish to purchase)
4. The highest bidder who either meets or exceeds the reserve is the winning bidder, and will be contacted with information provided if and when such bidder wins.
5. TAH charges the bidders account once the item(s) have been won.
Direct Buy
Direct Buy is a forum on TAH website that simply states the price for an item, no bidding necessary. These items are purchased as is provided to TAH by the Consignor.
1. Purchasers must register and sign in using user name and password
2. Select item(s) of choice
3. Select buy now, add to cart and check out using valid and approved credit card.
User names and Passwords:
The bidder is able to select an available user name and password. This user name and password creates an account for that individual who and is fully responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and for all activities that occur under the said password or account. TAH respects the privacy of our customers; thus, passwords are encrypted and stored on secure servers. Bidders must not disclose or share their password with any third party; or use that password for any unauthorized purpose and agree to immediately notify the National Land Agency of any unauthorized use of the password or account or any breach of security information
Inactive users are removed within 12 months.
Closing bid notice:
Some items may display a date and time for cut-off bids, herein referred to as a closing bid notice. This is a date and time for which TAH will no longer collect bids for an item. TAH cautions bidders to take note of closing bid notices.

The use of the website is not intended for persons under the age of 18. Contents of the website such as text, graphics, images, audio, video, data, coding, scripts, computer programs and other material(s) are not to be used for any other purpose than transactions between TAH and Users.
Though TAH makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the web material: (a) all contents, services products and item information on this website are provided as is , where is, with all imperfections, faults and errors of description without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. TAH its licensors and providers of data, disclaim all warranties, express or implied including without limitation those of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement ; (b) additions and amendments to the web material are governed under the terms and conditions of TAH; (c) TAH is not responsible for any claims made by vendors/consignors. Users therefore acknowledge that TAH does not guarantee and is not in any way liable for information and its accuracy provided by consignors/sellers; and that any reliance on the posted material is at the User’s risk. TAH and/or licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental or punitive damages including any loss of profit even if TAH has been advised of the possibility of such.
All rights in and to the website and its contents not expressly granted to Users are reserved. TAH authorizes Users to view and download a single copy of the website material solely for personal, non-commercial use, or in the case of consignors, to display to your clients solely for purposes of facilitating a transaction with TAH.
The use of the contents of the website or any portion thereof in any publication, database, catalog or compilation, or in a networked computer environment for any purpose other than personal browsing of the website without prior written permission of TAH is strictly prohibited.
The logos, trademarks, designs and service marks (here forth referred to as "marks") displayed on the website are owned by TAH or third parties. Users are prohibited from using the marks without the prior written permission of TAH or such third party. In the event that Users wish to obtain information about TAH, this must be done so in writing to admin@theaucitonhouseltd.com or by fax to our headquarters at 876-926-2515.
Users agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the website or any transactions being conducted on or in connection with the website. Users also agree not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our servers or systems.
Users will not in any event use any robot, spider, or other automatic or manual device or process for the purpose of compiling information regarding the identification, address or other attributes of any of our Users, bidders or sellers, or to recreate in original or modified form any substantial portion of the website.
Any violation of any provision disclosed in the terms and conditions outlined by TAH; TAH terminate the user’s account, the user must immediately destroy any copies of the website materials. TAH reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to expel Users and prevent their further access to the website for violating this Agreement or the law.
If needs be, TAH may take legal action against persons in violation of this agreement. In prevention of such an occurrence, TAH cautions users to fully read and review the terms and conditions before using the website and TAH services; and advise that users respect the intellectual property TAH and its affiliates.
TAH is committed to maintaining information provided by Users confidential. TAH reserves the right to disclose necessary information to satisfy any applicable laws, regulations, government requests, legal process and internal office use. TAH however, may from time to time gather information from User profiles for internal purposes. Users agree to (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information for registration and other relevant and requested data (b) maintain and update the registration data in the event of changes. TAH has the right to refuse, suspend or terminate any account that shows grounds of suspicion of untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete User data provided. TAH has no liability or responsibility to Users for performance or non-performance of activities. In the event that Users suspect unauthorized use of their account and/or any other breach of security, the User must immediately notify TAH.
The website may contain links to third-party websites. These sites are maintained by third-parties and access is provided to Users for their convenience. TAH is not accountable for the contents or any other features of third-party websites. Users who elect to access third-party sites through TAH, do so at their own risk.
TAH reserves the right to make change to the website and its contents.
TAH is not in any way responsible for information and/or material provided by third-parties. TAH does not provide a guarantee that the website will operate without error, interruption or that servers used are free of any computer viruses or other harmful contents, and TAH is not liable for any claims on damages to User property or equipment.
All information provided on the website is posted without any warrantees of any kind. Users not in agreement with the terms and conditions herein stated and/or dissatisfied with any portion of the website, must cease use of the website and TAH services. Users in compliance with the outlined terms and conditions agree to defend, hold harmless and indemnify TAH, its directors, agents and officers of whatever kind against any losses, liabilities, costs, expenses and damages; Users also agree not hold TAH responsible for any incurred legal, expert and accounting fees as such.

It is hereby agreed by the user to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct, with all applicable laws from the country in which the user resides.
Users are bound by TAH terms and such persons attest to have read and accept these terms and conditions in full.
