DELIVERY POLICY
Shop with The Auction House (TAH) and get your goods delivered to your door!
Upon
successfully submitting your order, you will immediately view a thank you page
containing your order number and details. We encourage you to print this page
for your records. An email confirmation of your entries will also be sent to the
address you provided.
Once
your order has shipped, your account will be debited. You may view the status of
your order by logging into your TAH account.
Shipping Rates and Methods:
Shipments
(otherwise known as deliveries) are contracted to long standing and reliable
courier providers, such as
Tara
or equivalent.
Shipping rates are determined by the contracted carrier and are primarily
calculated by estimated weight and/or destination zone.
Items that exceed standard
delivery capacity may bear a surcharge and/or demand for other transportation
alternatives; in such event, you will be notified before checkout.
NB: TAH aims to satisfy all
customers. In the event that your desired delivery address is outside of the TAH
listed delivery zones, please contact us and an agent will inquire of delivery
service and rates to your area, if applicable.
Receiving Shipment:
All customers must present their receipt and/or identification upon collection.
In the event that the purchaser will not be the present for delivery collections
or pick-up, he/she must contact the TAH delivery call center and verify ID number,
account security question and provide a name and number for the person collecting
on his/her behalf.
Payment Options:
We accept
Keycard, Visa and MasterCard. Cash and managers or cashier’s checks are accepted
only at authorized TAH Outlets.
Please note that your credit card will only be charged
when items you have ordered are released for shipping.
Telephone, Mail and Fax
Orders:
We encourage
you to order online for the fastest possible service. We do, however, offer the
option of telephone, mail or fax ordering. Where these options are offered, kindly
browse the site in advance and have your product codes, item numbers and credit
card ready before placing your call. This will help to expedite the process.

Special orders, Backorders:
You may
request to place a special order for particular items and/or a backorder on out
of stock items. In this event, kindly email us at
admin@theauctionhouseltd.com with the product name, number and any additional specifications.
A deposit may be required for this service.
Delivery Schedule:
TAH aims to deliver goods to our customers within 5-7 business days from the date
the order was placed. In some instances, merchandise may actually be delivered earlier
than expected; similarly, there are occasions when delivery may be delayed. We appreciate
the cooperation and understanding of our customers.
For your guidance, below is an estimate of the expected number of business days
it will take for in-stock merchandise to be loaded and delivered to you. ("Business
days" means Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.)

Sales Tax and Other Charges:
The application
of sales taxes is determined and required by of the Government of Jamaica. These
and any other applicable taxes will be clearly displayed on your order receipt.
NB: Customers outside of
Jamaica
shall be responsible for the payment of any import taxes, duties, tariffs or similar
charges which may be imposed over and above ordinary shipping charges.
